Hi, I’m Sarah Cornejo

Designer, creative director, and founder of MYCO Studio.

I grew up in a Peruvian immigrant household watching my parents build a business from nothing. No roadmap. No investors. Just hard work, long hours, and the determination to create opportunity where none existed.

That was my first lesson in entrepreneurship.

Years later, after working as a designer and creative director across agencies, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations, I started MYCO to do things differently.

Today, I help founders turn their story, culture, and experience into brands that connect, grow, and reach their community.

I’m especially passionate about working with first-gen founders, creatives, and culture-driven businesses; the ones building something meaningful for their communities.

Because the truth is: some of the most powerful brands come from people who had to figure it out as they went.

And that’s exactly the kind of energy I love building with.

    I believe we are all born creative. It is a gift and a spectrum of opportunities waiting to be explored. Being a first-gen founder requires a special kind of creativity because we often build our businesses from scratch, figuring things out as we go. Creativity is the tool that makes it all possible.

    Community over competition always. My parents built a 30-year-old business without investors by opening their doors and adding a seat at the table. That is exactly how I build MYCO and my business. When we work together, we are a community. We are friends, collaborators, and in it together.
